Rock DeliveranceMinistry

Meeting people where they are.

Unity · Strength · Hope · Love

For decades we have carried hot meals, mobility equipment, and everyday dignity to the homeless, the elderly, and families in need, from South Florida to Jamaica.

“The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.”
Psalm 18:2

Who We Are

A small ministry with a long memory.

Rock Deliverance Ministry began with a simple conviction: that the people everyone else walks past are the people God asks us to stop for.

For decades that conviction has taken us onto sidewalks, into doorways, up apartment stairs, and across the water to Jamaica. The work looks the same in both places. We look for the person nobody is coming back for: the man sleeping outside, the widow rationing her groceries, the caregiver who has not slept, the child heading into a new school year with an empty backpack. Then we do what we can with what we have.

What began as neighborhood outreach in Broward County has grown into an international ministry. We serve here at home and abroad in Jamaica, and we have never treated one as more important than the other.

We have never been a large organization, and we have never needed to be. There is no warehouse and no waiting list. What comes in goes back out, usually within days, into the hands of someone who needed it that week. That is the whole model, and it still works.

Our name comes from the rock we stand on, and everything we do rests on four words we have carried from the beginning: unity, strength, hope, and love.

Our Ministry

Four kinds of help, given directly.

No application, no qualification process, no waiting. If we have it and you need it, it is yours.

Feeding the Homeless

Hot meals and groceries carried to the places people already are, rather than to a building they have to find first.

Caring for the Elderly

The heart of our work. Adult diapers, incontinence supplies, and steady support for seniors and the family members caring for them.

Mobility & Independence

Walkers, wheelchairs, canes, and shower chairs placed directly with the people who need them to stay in their own homes.

Back to School

Backpacks, supplies, and essentials each summer so a child starts the year on equal footing with everyone else in the room.

Where We Serve

Local roots, international reach.

Two communities, one mission. What we carry to a doorway in Broward County is what we carry to a doorway in Jamaica.

South Florida

Based in Lauderhill and serving Broward County and the surrounding area, with street outreach, senior support, and the annual back-to-school giveaway.

International

Jamaica

Regular trips carrying mobility equipment, food, school supplies, and care for the elderly to communities we have known and returned to for years.

Give

Two ways to help.

Money moves fastest, but a walker in your garage or a case of diapers from the store does just as much good.
